History of St Patrick, Southport

 

2012 to present

Fr Tom retired due to ill health in late 2012, leaving St Patrick's with a wonderfully redeveloped plant, fit for purpose - to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom!

 

Fr Mark Madden succeeded Fr Tom Leigh as Parish Priest in November 2012. Deeply involved in the work of the Church in the Holy Land, Fr Mark brought a passionate concern to the Parish for that special place .....and 'praying for the peace of Jerusalem' will always be part of who we are as followers of Jesus.

 

 

 

 

Fr John Heneghan succeeded Fr Mark, becoming the 7th Parish Priest of St Patrick's, in September 2016, as well as continuing to be PP at St Marie's.
